Hygiene Access for All

No one should have to choose between staying clean and staying fed. At Enhance, we believe hygiene is a human right—not a privilege. Since 2018, we've been assembling and distributing care kits designed to meet the real, everyday needs of people experiencing homelessness across Austin.

Each kit includes essentials like toothpaste, a toothbrush, deodorant, shampoo, menstrual products, socks, face wipes, and hand sanitizer. During colder months, we include gloves, beanies, and emergency blankets. In the summer, we add sunscreen and cooling wipes. Everything is thoughtfully chosen to restore a sense of comfort, dignity, and health.

But it’s not just about what’s inside the bag—it’s about the way it’s given. Every kit is hand-packed by volunteers, often with personalized notes of encouragement or small pieces of art. We deliver them directly to encampments, shelters, and community hubs where people need them most.

Our hygiene initiative is 100% donation-driven and volunteer-powered. Whether it’s a school hosting a product drive, a local business sponsoring a packing session, or a parent helping their child write a kind note to a stranger—every contribution makes a difference.
